Ambitious but possible! The route covers the Olympic Peninsula and Whidbey Island, which involves a ferry crossing. We recommend spreading it over a few days to enjoy each stop.
Yes! The route generally involves taking the Jefferson Transit shuttle to Sequim and then transferring at the Sequim Transit Center to a Clallam Transit bus to continue to Port Angeles.
Pacific Mist Books in Sequim is about a 10-minute walk from the Sequim Transit Center, right on Washington Street downtown.
From the Sequim Transit Center, take the #30 Commuter to the Port Angeles Gateway Transit Center for Odyssey Books and Port Book and News. This is one of the most frequent routes in the area, often running every 30 minutes during peak weekday hours.
Weekday schedule: Buses typically run roughly every 60–90 minutes starting around 6:30 AM through the early evening.
Saturday service: A modified schedule with fewer runs, generally starting later in the morning.
We hope so! This is Year 1 covering the Olympic Peninsula and Whidbey Island. Future voyages may expand to new regions.
